How to buy

Buying on Galoo is easy, fun and could save you money when shopping for products and services. All you need is an email account.

1) Visit Galoo website. www.galoo.com

2) Enter the product or service  you are looking for

3) Fill out the online form with the price you want to pay

4) Invite friends to join your request and help negotiate a better deal (Optional)

5) Let the sellers come to you. Galoo will notify all relevant Sellers with your request!

6) Receive emails and message alerts from Galoo Sellers straight in your inbox and then enter into a live negotiation to save money on your purchase

7) Agree on the terms of delivery and payment method.

8) Pay the seller and you are done. So simple!

9) Galoo asks you kindly to consider a small donation of your savings on each deal to a charity. It is not obligatory. Many people out there need our help and you have just saved a good deal of money!

10) Rank the Seller upon completion of the deal.You will help yourself and other users to avoid bad sellers and you will enjoy a secure marketplace for all your needs.

How to sell

Selling Products and Services on Galoo is simple and easy, it is cost effective and generates more customers for continuous purchases.  All you need is a valid email address and telephone number. You don’t even need a website!

1) Visit the Galoo website. www.galoo.com

2) Register by listing your company name and password

3) Continue registration by selecting the category of products and services that you offer and the geographical locations where you sell your products and services

4) Receive email messages and/or SMS alerts from Galoo with offers on your products and services from genuine qualified buyers.

5) Enter into negotiations with qualified buyers to agree a price, payment terms and delivery 

6) It’s so simple! Register on Galoo now. List your company and start selling

Seller Questions

Question:

I have an e-commerce website. Can I list my products on Galoo.com?

Answer:

Yes, if you have an e-commerce website we can list your products within our price comparison shopping engine for free. All you need to do is send us your product feed via an XML link or contact us directly to discuss further.

Question:

I would like to receive SMS text alerts so that I can close a sale with new buyers. Is this possible through Galoo.com?

Answer:

Yes, on the registration process we will ask you to verify your mobile phone
number. Galoo will implement new software shortly which will send you SMS text messages, every time there is a buyer asking for your product or service.  You will not lose a single buyer.

Question:
Do I have to accept a buyer request?

Answer:

No, Galoo Buyers request  better prices for your product(s) or
service(s). However, you are not forced to accept any buyer request. Galoo is a great way for you to liquidate some of your inventory or fill some vacancies for your services a few times during the day, week, month or year you may consider accepting a Galoo Buyer's offer or negotiate your best price. 

You can negotiate live with the buyer. If the buyer is not on line, you can leave him a message.           The buyer will be notified of your message by email and/or SMS message. If the buyer enters the chat window and you are not on line, he will leave a message for you. You will be notified by email or a SMS for that message.

You accept buyers’ requests only when you are satisfied  by deal’s price and terms.

Question:

I have some products and services on discount during different periods. Is it possible to accept buyers requests and sell on Galoo without making the price public?

Answer:

Yes, the price that you agree on when closing the deal stays as a secret between you and the buyer. You can do discounts which no one else will know about. Thus your regular customers will pay at your regular price.

Question:

How can I become a trusted / verified seller?

Answer:
It’s free to become a trusted seller. That way you will have more chances to sell your products and services. To become a trusted seller Click on the link within your profile on My Galoo section “ask to be a trusted seller”. Fill in the online form with all information. We will cross check this verifying  your details and nominating  you as a trusted seller once completed.

Question:

Can I provide feedback on the buyer?

Answer:

Yes, as a seller you have the option to rank a buyer, as the buyer has the option to rank you. The ranking will help Galoo users to choose the most trusted users. We do so, to avoid fraud and  to provide better service to our users.

Question:

How much does galoo.com charge for the service?

Answer:

Galoo’s profit is 8% on the net amount you will receive from the buyer. That's all. After the deal is closed, we will send you an invoice and you will pay through PayPal or bank deposit the 8% commission to Galoo.

However you will pay at least £1 for each deal if the net amount is less than £13. E.g.: if you sell something for £10, you will be charged £1.
